The Best of Texas Tennis, the people's choice campaign recognizes those that portray excellence in the Texas tennis community. Categories are open to members of the wider community: both USTA and non-USTA members are eligible to nominate, vote and be recognized!

The Best of Texas Tennis 2026 returns and we need your help to highlight the absolute BEST of the Lone Star State’s tennis community. Whether it's your favorite local court/facility, the league that feels like family, or an unforgettable tournament, it’s time to give them the recognition they deserve!

2026 Best of Texas Tennis Categories

Tennis Event

Your favorite tennis event in 2026. Events must have included a tennis component (pro tournament, local CTA activation, open house) and have taken place during the current calendar year.

Tennis Tournament

Your favorite junior or adult tournament in Texas for 2026. Tournaments which have taken place in 2026 are eligible. Sanctioned and Unsanctioned tournaments are eligible but must be submitted with a valid usta.com tournament ID.

Tennis Facility

Your favorite tennis facility in Texas for 2026. This includes public facilities, private clubs, and educational institutions of any size.

USTA League Area

Your favorite local USTA League for 2026. Must be a USTA League and must have held matches during the 2026 calendar year to be eligible.

Social Tennis Group

Your favorite social or recreational league for 2026. This includes non-USTA leagues and groups who formed/competed regularly including but not limited to red ball, social leagues, tennis clubs and tennis meet-up groups.

School Tennis Team

Your favorite high school or middle school tennis team in Texas for 2026. All public and private teams of all levels are eligible. Must have formed/competed within the 2026 calendar year.

Tennis On Campus Club Team

Your favorite Tennis On Campus (TOC) club team in Texas for 2026. All collegiate TOC club teams are eligible. Must be active during the current calendar year (fall or spring semester) and in good standing with the USTA.

Adapted Tennis Program

Your favorite tennis program or group providing adapted forms of tennis competition or recreation in 2026. Includes all offerings for players participating in a variety of tennis programming including Wheelchair, Para-Standing, IDD, Blind/Low Vision, DHoH, SER (Social, Emotional, & Recovery).
