About USTA Texas Leadership

For over 125 years, USTA Texas has been serving Texas through tennis. USTA Texas is committed to its mission of "growing tennis inclusively to promote and inspire healthier people while serving Texas communities." A 501(c)3 nonprofit, it is led by a group of dedicated volunteer leaders who shape and guide the organizations' priorities, goals and direction. The Board of Directors oversees the organization's overall management and directions while its Management Committee oversees day-to-day operations. Each term, USTA Texas Committees are appointed by the President to oversee and carry out specific charges.

Management Committee

The Management Committee is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization. It is composed of section officers including the executive officers of USTA Texas (President, Vice Presidents, Secretary and Treasurer), any current member of USTA Texas who is also on the current USTA Board of Directors, the USTA Delegate (typically the immediate past president), the Chairperson of the Nominating Committee (typically the immediate past Delegate) and General Counsel (ex officio).
