About USTA Texas Committees

 

Coming from all corners of the state, USTA Texas Committee Members play a vital role in helping support and shape the sport of tennis in their communities and across Texas. Our Committees reflect many ways tennis can be played and the many folks who play it. 

 

Through the efforts of its committee members and leadership, USTA Texas can strengthen existing programs, add new programs, acquire additional funds and resources, engage diverse communities, add specialized skills and talents and increase public awareness of Texas tennis.

 

In addition to the Annual and Semiannual Meetings each year, Committee connect regularly throughout the two-year term to accomplish objectives, reach their goals and help fulfill the USTA Texas mission, vision and values.

Committees & Descriptions

 

Approximately 180 section volunteers are organized into committees for each two-year term. These groups include members selected for their expertise, experience or interest to help design, plan and implement key agenda items for growing tennis in their respective area. Committees, Committee Chairs and Responsible Officers are appointed by the President for the term. 

 

The president has established 20 committees for the 2025-2026 term. Committees are subject to change.
