USTA Digital Feedback and Ideas

HAVE FEEDBACK OR AN IDEA FOR ANY OF THE USTA'S DIGITAL PROPERTIES?

PRODUCT BOARD OVERVIEW

The USTA Digital Team utilizes a tool called Productboard to:

  • Collect feature requests and feedback in a single repository

  • Surface the feature ideas that best address user needs

  • Validate feature ideas and source new ones

  • Distinguish candidates that bring the most value via our three guiding principles

  • Show Transparency to providers and customers via a public roadmap

 BENEFITS OF PRODUCT BOARD

  1. Collect features requests and feedback in a single repository

  2. Share what is planned and celebrate what has been launched

  3. Distinguish candidates that bring the most value

  4. Surface the feature idea that best addresses user needs

  5. Share plans with colleagues from across the organization, providers, and customers via a public portal

HOW TO SUBMIT FEEDBACK

You can submit an idea or feedback to four different feedback boards:

  1. Serve Tennis Tournament Feedback Portal
  2. Serve Tennis Programming Feedback Portal
  3. USTA.com Feedback Portal
  4. USTA Tennis App Feedback Portal
  • Scroll or search by pressing CTRL F on your computer to see if a feature/idea already exists in the wishlist or under the consideration tab.

  • If it does, then you can vote on the feature and give it priority. If a request/idea does not exist, you can click on ‘Submit Idea’ in the upper right-hand corner.

SERVE TENNIS TOURNAMENT DIGITAL COUNCIL PROCESS

Our digital council will meet to review submissions from the wishlist section of the tournament product board. Features will be chosen and placed “under consideration” based on user votes and if they satisfy the following guiding principles:

  1. Meets Customer Needs/Increases Customer Satisfaction

  2. Improves Quality

  3. Increases Usage

The council will meet with the digital product owner and USTA business owner to determine the priority order of the requests. The approved priority list will be estimated and groomed and then placed into the roadmap to be tagged to a release.

Submitters and voters will be alerted when their request moves from the wishlist once it gets placed into the roadmap and finally when it gets launched.

The role of the council is to work closely with the product business owner and the digital product owner to provide strategic guidance on priorities for the Product Roadmap.
