There is plenty of fun, social ways to play tennis and take advantage of all that the sport has to offer.

 

In 2019, USTA Mid-Atlantic will be offering a variety of opportunities to play tennis and make friends.  No matter your level of experience, we’ve got a social tennis opportunity that can be a fit for you! Social tennis can satisfy your desire for competition, while still keeping the focus on fun and meeting new people.

 

Social tennis is also a great new way to get a workout in. Instead of going to a boring gym class, grab your friends and coworkers and join a social tennis league. It'll be a great way to excite your workout routine while having fun!

HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING NEAR YOU:

We get it. You want to get on the court, but you're more worried about having a good time and meeting new people than whether you win or lose.   You’ve come to the perfect place to find some casual competition and ways to work on your game when you want to.

 

MARYLAND

Anne Arundel - Mix, Match & Mingle!

Summer Friday nights are perfect for tennis! The Anne Arundel County Tennis Association is hosting a drop-in round robin tennis, along with food and drinks. Rotations are every 30 minutes with different partners.

Where: Annapolis High School

Dates: June 14, July 12, Aug.16

Time: 6:00 - 9:30 p.m.

Cost: Free for members of AACTA; Non-members, first time free! Membership is $20

Baltimore - Drop in and play!

Stop by and get in some tennis action. There will be two courts of play and one court of drills so you can hone your game.

Where: Patterson Park

Dates: 6/20, 6/27, 7/11 and 7/18

Time: 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Cost: $40

WASHINGTON DC

DC FRAY - Washington DC and Arlington, VA.

 

Whether you are a former college tennis player or haven't held a racquet since you were a kid, this tennis league is for you!!  Fun, social co-ed tennis. Players receive an hour of rotation between game time, instructional drills and match play each week.

TOURNAMENTS

 

Not all adult tournaments are played on 78’ courts with yellow tennis balls over a two-day weekend. Check out our alternative tournament formats for adults including tiebreak tournaments, 1-day events, and more! Find a tournament near you!

 

CARDIO TENNIS

 

Cardio Tennis is a great way for players to enjoy the game. In about an hour, you get an amazing workout, socialize, and enjoy tennis - all at once. Find a class near you.
