USTA Missouri Valley Junior Team Tennis Open

A New Competition Experience for 2026 - No Qualifiers. No Barriers. Just Junior Team Tennis.

The USTA Missouri Valley Junior Team Tennis Open is a brand-new, inclusive team event that brings teams from across the section together for competition, connection, and FUN.

This event replaces previous Qualifiers & Section Championships

No qualifying required, all teams are welcome!

Dates: July 14-15, 2026 | July 13-14, 2027

Event Location: Kossover Tennis Center

Address: 2540 SW Gage Blvd, Topeka, KS 66614

Age Divisions: 

• 12U Green Ball (WTN 40-10)

• 14U Championship (WTN 40-10)

• 18U Championship (WTN 40-10)

WTN (World Tennis Number) Team Averages will be used in each division to create pools of play (when necessary on the size of the field)

Team Format: 2 boys / 2 girls

• Minimum players: 2 boys and 2 girls

• No Maximum, Number of players registered on each team is at the discretion of their coach/manager

Match Format: 3 court per team match

• Round 1: 1 girls singles / 1 boys singles / 1 mixed doubles

• Round 2: 1 girls doubles / 1 boys doubles

Scoring Format:

• 12U: One set to 6, no add scoring, one more game played at 5-5 (win by 1) 

• 14U and 18U: One set to 6, no add scoring, tiebreaker at 5-5 (win by 2) 

• Games Won

Age Validation: 

• A player is age-eligible for an event if the player will not exceed the maximum age for the age division by the last day of the month in which the player’s age division in the event is scheduled to start. (See Table 4 of USTA Junior Competition Guidelines.) The USTA Missouri Valley may require a player to submit a copy of a birth certificate or other proof of age.

   

How does a team register my team for the USTA Missouri Valley Junior Team Tennis Open?

• Coaches or Team Managers must complete: 

  • Reserve your team's spot today by filling out this Team Registration Form!

  • All teams must fill out the above form to receive a team # and registration link

  • Once a team receives their Team # and registration link, they will register through TennisLink

  • Teams must be registered in TennisLink and have a complete team by July 7, 2026 @ 11:59pm (EST)

     

JUNIOR RANKING POINTS AND JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS: Junior ranking points are not awarded for player participation in USTA Missouri Valley Junior Team Tennis Open. Players WILL receive credit toward their WTN.
