Red Ball Challenge: 2019 US OPEN
On October 26, 2019, the Centro de Tenis Honda in Bayamón celebrated the 8U US Open as part of the Red Ball Challenge: Grand Slam Tour. Between 39 boys and girls from the 8 and under category, participated in this event.
We have the collaboration of the Pros Gustavo Carrasquillo and Daniel Caballero who helped us make this event possible. In addition to the fun, the participating tennis players also received snacks, cold drinks, shirts and collectible medals alluding to the US Open.
Our little players live a very similar experience to the professionals, participating in the four Grand Slams of the year (Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and the United States Open), tasting the different surfaces while having fun on the court.
At the beginning of next year, we return with the Australian Safari as the first Grand Slam of the season.
