Open Level 5: April 26-272025 is flying by! And our last April Open Level 5 of the season will be here before you know it. The tournament takes place April 26-27. Don't forget to register by April 20.
2025 District Team CupThis summer, you're invited to represent your district in an exciting mixed team competition! The District Team Cup is one of the few tournaments in the country where boys and girls can compete together in the 12s, 14s and 18s age divisions. Top teams advance to the championship match. Brewer Team Cup
Some of the country's best junior tennis players gathered in Tucson, Ariz. and Mobile, Ala. for the 2025 Brewer Team Cup. More than 200 players competed on teams. Congratulations to our Midwest athletes among them! We had three players who were on winning teams or were runners-up.

- Mason Menyhart, Chicago - B14 Champion Team: Seahawks
- Nadia Poznick, Southeastern Michigan - G14 Champion Team: Leopards
- Henry Zhong, Chicago - B12 Finalist Team: Roadrunners B
Fila Easter Bowl
Hop hop hooray we have results! Congratulations to all of our players who competed at the Fila Easter Bowl, known as one of the most prestigious junior tennis tournaments in the country.
Player Devlopment CampLast month, our section held a Player Development Camp at the Greater Midland Tennis Center in Michigan. Boys and girls from the 14U division were invited to play in front of high-performance coaches who led drills, point play and games for a fun and instructive weekend.
GRANTSThe USTA/Midwest Tennis & Education Foundation grant cycle is open through April 15, 2025. Individuals can apply for financial assistance to help meet their tennis goals by visiting midwesttennisfoundation.com. And last month, the USTA Foundation announced the launch of the Mackie McDonald College Fund—a new initiative to provide individual player grants to high school seniors who want to continue their tennis careers at the collegiate level.
