USTA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Congratulations to our players who competed at the USTA National Championships! They were held August 4-13 and took place in Mobile, AL; Kalamazoo, MI; Peachtree Corners, GA; Rome, GA; and San Diego, CA. Check out the results below! Midwest players in bold.

USTA NATIONAL DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIP

Two weeks after hard courts, players were invited to the USTA National Campus in Orlando, FL for the USTA National Doubles Championships August 25-27. Congratulations to everyone who competed at either or both of these national tournaments! Results below. Midwest players in bold.

B16s Finalists: Simon Caldwell and Zachary Cohen
B18s Champions: Brandon Carpico and Alex Fuchs
G14s Champions: Kennedy Drenser-Hagmann and Lyla Middleton

CAMPERS VISIT WESTERN & SOUTHERN OPEN

Our Team USA Camp members were invited to the Western & Southern Open in Mason, OH on August 18-19 for two days of tennis drills, point play and games! There were even moments for players to meet Jamie Murray and Caty McNally before trickling out to the stands to see some of the world's greatest tennis players compete. Read more.

FROM COLLEGE TO THE US OPEN

Have you been following the US Open? Peyton Stearns from our Ohio Valley District made it to Round 4 at the grand slam event, and so did Ben Shelton! In fact, Ben Shelton has moved on to the semifinals. Will he have won the US Open by the time you read this email? Just last year both Stearns and Shelton won NCAA singles titles and now they've made their way into week two of the 2023 US Open. For scores, news and more visit usopen.org.
