The City of Kearney Parks & Recreation Department is excited to announce the upcoming opening of the new Ernest Grundy Tennis Center. The 62,000-square-foot facility is slated to open in the spring of 2022 on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Kearney.
The center will be operated by the Kearney Parks & Recreation Department and will feature six indoor courts with mezzanine spectator seating. It will also offer office space, conference rooms and locker room space for the UNK women’s tennis team.
This new facility will provide year-round tennis access to the public, making it easier to get the community more involved.
