Digital Content Producer Position

USTA Missouri Valley is how hiring for a Digital Content Producer!

 

The Digital Content Producer will creatively develop content for use on website, social media, publications and other channels. The position will partner with appropriate internal and external resources to generate content aimed at players and providers within the section. There will be an emphasis on growing engagement and awareness of USTA Missouri Valley.

 

Reports to: Marketing Communications Director 

Status: Fulltime, exempt 

Location: Section office, home office 

Work Schedule: Weekday hours, occasional night or weekend event coverage 

 

Position Summary: To assist USTA Missouri Valley in its mission to promote and develop the growth of tennis in our five-state area. The Digital Content Producer will creatively develop content for use on website, social media, publications and other channels. Partner with appropriate internal and external resources to generate content to provide a communications service to viewers, including players and providers. Grow engagement and awareness of USTA Missouri Valley. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

● Team with section marketing communications staff to identify opportunities to provide awareness of tennis locally, ultimately resulting in increased tennis participation and awareness 

● Create and develop a communications content plan, including managing content deadlines for monthly and quarterly communications 

● Adhere to USTA Brand Guidelines and Communication Style Guides 

● Professionally represent the USTA Missouri Valley when covering local events for content gathering 

● Manage and operate within the approved budget and processes 

● Prepare and submit requested reports in a timely manner 

● Attend USTA Missouri Valley calls/meetings as applicable 

● Complete training and Safe Play certification 

● Strong organizational skills 

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

● Excellent journalistic writing skills 

 

Qualifications:

● Proficiency in social media multichannel content creation and analytics, and awareness of best practices including search engine optimization 

● AEM content management system experience for USTA.com content creation 

● Familiarity with AP style guidelines and adherence to USTA brand standards 

● Proficiency in conducting interviews face-to-face, over the phone, or via email for content creation 

● Proficiency in photo and video gathering, editing, production 

● Proficiency using Adobe products, including AEM, Photoshop, Premiere and more 

● Familiarity with the Google Suite, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Google Drive, Google Meet

● Light travel within the section and assigned association meetings 

● Previous or current experience in sports and specifically tennis is a plus
