Iowa Senior Winter Games Set for December

Registration is now open for the 2021 Winter Iowa Senior Games. The tennis portion will be held Thursday, Dec. 9 and Friday Dec. 10 in Bettendorf. Men and women ages 50-years-old and up can participate in the Senior Games.

 

 

“We can’t wait to host athletes 50 and over throughout the Quad Cities and continue to promote our mission of living an active lifestyle,” said Dan Beitelspacher, with the Iowa Sports Foundation. 

 

 

Five year age divisions are offered, and participants will compete against those in or near their age groups.  Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded based on the age groups. Singles, doubles and mixed doubles will be offered.

 

 

Registration is $30 for unlimited events. Other sports include pickleball, bowling, swimming, indoor track and field and table tennis. It’s sponsored by Health Alliance Medicare. To learn more or to register, visit www.iowaseniorgames.org.
