Iowa Teams Take Part in USTA Missouri Valley Section Championships

A number of USTA teams in Iowa reached the USTA Missouri Valley Section Championships in August. Congratulations to the Chase team for winning the 18 & Over Section Championships at the 4.5 women's division in St. Louis. The team qualifies for the USTA Adult League National Championships in Oct. 8-10 in Surprise, Ariz. Congratulations are also in order for the Shoenfelder/Snedegar 40 & Over 3.5 women's team for capturing a section championship.

The Amelon-Anderson finished 1-2, as well as the Shive-Houston team

4.0 Men:

WC/Jha/Hanson came out with a 1-2 record, while Sichterman finished 2-1.

Thompson-Oster, 0-3

Men 7.0:

Clewell-Thomasson, 1-2
