Tennis players in Atlantic now have four brand new courts to play on. The new courts are at the high school and will be utilized by the entire community. A ribbon cutting was held on Sunday, Oct. 24, to officially unveil the courts as well as accept a generous donation from the USTA Missouri Valley.

“The Atlantic Tennis Association along with the Atlantic Community Schools and Parks and Recreation are thrilled with the completion of the new courts and lights located at the high school,” said Stu Dusenberry, Atlantic Parks and Rec chairman.

He said the community is anxiously awaiting the upcoming tennis season in the spring and they are excited to host tournaments and run programming at the new facility.
