Terpkosh Among Those Honored at 2021 Awards Banquet
Players, volunteers, captains and associations were recently honored at the 2021 USTA Iowa Awards Banquet. This year the event was held on October 24 at Brown Deer Golf Club in Coralville. Many outstanding men and women were nominated for playing and promoting the sport of tennis. One of them was John Terpkosh, USTA Iowa’s Tennis Service Representative. He was nominated for the President’s Award.
“I’m deeply touched with this recognition from the USTA Iowa and its president,” he said. “Working with so many friends over these many years is reward enough, but I will certainly cherish this.”
Terpkosh has worked for USTA Iowa for 21 years. Donna Farley was honored with the distinguished service award and the River Cities Tennis Association in Clinton was named the Outstanding Community Tennis Association. Additionally, Mike Conlan replaced Fred Pedersen as the Awards Chair.
