Tri-Level Leagues Starting in June
If you’d like to expand your tennis resume, consider joining a Tri-Level team with USTA Iowa. A Tri-Level team consists of three doubles courts which play at separate NTRP levels for each match. For example, one court is a 3.5 match, one is 4.0 and the third is 4.5 - all of which could advance to USTA Missouri Valley Section Championships, and then to the USTA League Tri-Level National Invitational. USTA Iowa also plays Tri-Level at 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 (in a non-advancing league.)
There are leagues for both men and women. If there are enough mixed teams, a Tri-Level Mixed League would be considered. Tri-Level Mixed would be a non-advancing league as well. Most matches are played outdoors.
Leagues start in early June, and play is weekly, ending in early August. For more information on Tri-Level leagues, contact the league coordinators at iowa-usta@hotmail.com or iowa55mixed@gmail.com.
