USTA Missouri National Tennis Month Recap

May was National Tennis Month, and here are some of the exciting events that happened within USTA Missouri as part of the celebration:

 

May 4-5: Rolla clinic and Red Ball Tennis tournament

This was the city’s second straight year playing host to a weekend of tennis. Rolla held clinics, games and social play for children for two hours on May 4 followed by a round-robin Red Ball Tennis tournament on May 5. Read more about this event by clicking here.

May 10: Family Night Tennis

On May 10, Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield hosted a Family Night Tennis event. At the event, the Springfield Mayor Pro Tem, Matthew Simpson, read a National Tennis Month proclamation from the city. Learn more about this event here.

May 16-18: State Championships

Cooper Tennis Complex hosted the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) Boys’ Tennis State Championships in May. Read more about how the USTA Missouri teams and individuals performed here.
