Happy Thanksgiving
As we close out this year, I would like to acknowledge two very important groups. First, the ever-growing population of tennis players in Nebraska. We have come out of the pandemic strong, resilient and closer than ever. Tennis was a life-preserver to many of us during such unprecedented and frightening times.
I would also like extend a big thanks to the USTA Nebraska Board of Directors for their time, hard work, and dedication to tennis in Nebraska. The board worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for tennis players to compete during this tough time. Furthermore, I would like to thank Heather Blumel, who is stepping down after two terms as our President. She has worked countless hours and worked hard to help make sure Nebraska tennis grew even stronger. The Board and Heather are volunteers who give their time and energy to the players of Nebraska and for that we are all grateful.
I am looking forward to another year of great tennis.
Lisa Thomas
Executive Director USTA Nebraska
