USTA Missouri Valley Junior Team Tennis Section Qualifier #1 Recap

USTA Oklahoma recently hosted the first USTA Missouri Valley Junior Team Tennis Section Qualifier on June 14-15 in Tulsa, OK!

 

Seven teams competed in the qualifier, all battling for the opportunity to advance to the USTA Missouri Valley Junior Team Tennis Section Championship in July. Four teams competed in the 14U Championship division and three teams played in the 18U Championship division. 

 

Thank you to Peter McCorkle for running the event and to Case Tennis Center at Lafortune Park for being the host facility! Great job!

Runner-Up: Edmond Center Court - Sagraves/Sioux

3rd Place: VWTA - Pensavalle/Hillock

4th Place: Southern Hills - Troyke

 

Sportsmanship Winners: Jesse Frisic and Caroline Beacham

 

18U Championship

Champion: Edmond Center Court - Sagraves

Runner-Up: BCCTA Bears - Lund

3rd Place: Pensavalle/Zakharov

 

Sportsmanship Winners: Jayla Harris and JP Dillon

 

There are two qualifiers remaining in Kansas City and St. Louis before the Section Championship in Edmond, Oklahoma on July 18-19. Learn more here.
