Tennis At Home
Missing life on the tennis courts? Us too! No worries – The USTA and Net Generation are here to help!
Go to USTA.com and click on Tennis At Home to access fitness and nutrition tips from professionals, instructional videos, and at-home activities for adults and older junior players.
If your player is still in the youth progression stage, Net Generation has their own set of Tennis at Home videos to keep the game going at home.
The video series offers several drills you can easily practice with limited space, such as Double Volley. In Double Volley, one volleys the ball back and forth with a racquet in each hand. The aim is to assist with hand-eye coordination. Several similar drills can help with all facets of your game.
In addition to game drills, the Tennis at Home page has activities like fun coloring pages and a story time with tennis great Billie Jean King.
Some of St. Louis’s very own are taking their own spins on tennis at home! Check out our Net Generation Ambassador Maya Martin’s makeshift tennis court and USTA St. Louis Tennis Service Representative Carli Connors’s bounce-up challenge.
We will get through this together. Stay home, stay safe, and stay active with Net Generation and Tennis at Home!
