USTA New England Selects Six NJTL Students for Camp Scholarships
WESTBOROUGH, MA- USTA New England is proud to announce that six deserving National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) students have been awarded scholarships to attend prestigious summer tennis camps. This annual scholarship program, made possible by the generous support of our sponsors, Rafa Nadal Academy Camps and adidas Tennis Camps, provides young athletes with the opportunity to enhance their tennis skills, develop their character, and experience high-level training.
The following students have been selected to receive scholarships:
Jayniel Bermudez, New HYTEs, will attend Rafa Nadal Academy Camp in New Haven, CT.
Ife Haynes, First Serve Bridgeport, will attend Rafa Nadal Academy Camp in New Haven, CT.
Kimberly Tarr, Advantage Kids, will attend Rafa Nadal Academy Camp in Sheffield, MA.
Kasey Tarr, Advantage Kids, will attend Rafa Nadal Academy Camp in Sheffield, MA.
O'Marion Campbell, TeamFAME, will attend the overnight adidas Tennis Camp in Brewster, NH.
Zion Tonge, First Serve Bridgeport, will attend adidas Tennis Camp in Fairfield, CT.
These scholarships cover the full cost of camp tuition, providing these students with a unique opportunity to train with top coaches, improve their technical abilities, and immerse themselves in a positive and challenging athletic environment.

The NJTL program, founded by Arthur Ashe, Charlie Pasarell, and Sheridan Snyder, provides young people with opportunities to develop life skills, including leadership, sportsmanship, and academic achievement, through the sport of tennis. USTA New England is proud to support the work of NJTLs and empower young athletes through programs like this scholarship initiative.
