USTA NEW ENGLAND AWARDS NINE SUMMER CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS TO ASPIRING YOUNG TENNIS PLAYERS

 

WESTBOROUGH, MA – USTA New England is thrilled to announce the recipients of its summer camp scholarship program. In partnership with Rafa Nadal Tennis Academy Camps, Nike Tennis Camps and adidas Tennis Camps, nine talented young athletes have been selected to attend these prestigious camps free of charge this summer.

 

Chosen from a pool of over 85 applicants, these nine individuals demonstrated exceptional skill, passion and commitment to the sport of tennis. The 2024 scholarship recipients are:

 

  • Andrew Kosciukiewicz - Rafa Nadal Academy Camp in Avon, CT

  • William Fisher - Rafa Nadal Academy Camp in Lakeville, CT

  • Tony Nivelo - Rafa Nadal Academy Camp in New Haven, CT

  • Skylar Gajwani - Rafa Nadal Academy Camp in Newport, RI

  • Fayth Loper - Adidas Overnight Tennis Camp in Brewster, NH

  • Avery Viens - Adidas Tennis Camp in Fairfield, CT

  • Ronith Velagapudi - Nike Tennis Camp at Yale University

  • Arvin Vaidya - Nike Tennis Camp at Curry College

  • Aly DePasquale - Nike Tennis Camp at Wellesley University

     

"Congratulations to these dedicated students on earning camp scholarships. We’re grateful to our committed camp partners in whom we’re confident will ensure these students have an unforgettable summer tennis experience,” said Lindsey Keeler, USTA New England Executive Director & CEO.

 

USTA New England is committed to fostering the next generation of tennis talent and providing opportunities for young players to reach their full potential. Through this scholarship program, these nine athletes will have the chance to train with top-notch coaches, learn from experienced professionals and meet and interact with new players.
