USTA NEW ENGLAND RENEWS PARTNERSHIP WITH WILSON SPORTING GOODS
Wilson Will Continue to Serve as the Presenting Sponsor of Tennis in the Parks Through 2025
WESTBOROUGH, MA - The United States Tennis Association of New England has renewed its partnership with Wilson Sporting Goods as the Official Sponsor of the Tennis in the Parks program. The Chicago-based company has had a deep impact on tennis programming throughout New England since 2021, and that will now extend through 2025.
“Our relationship with Wilson is a true partnership. Our philosophies align around growing tennis, and we are excited to continue to work with such an enthusiastic partner to help us expand the sport throughout our communities. Our partnership, through combined efforts, has put racquets into the hands of thousands of first-time players, introducing them to tennis in a fun and engaging way. Wilson's support and free & discounted equipment ensure we can make the Tennis in the Parks program accessible for all, and we're excited to see how many more lives we can positively impact," said Lindsey Keeler, Executive Director and CEO of USTA New England.
Tennis in the Parks runs in the spring, summer and fall on public courts in more than 60 cities and towns throughout New England. The program has impacted 8,000+ new or beginner youth and adult players since its inception in 2018. This partnership has allowed USTANE to expand to more local areas and provide free racquets to every participant.
“Wilson is excited to renew our successful partnership with USTA New England and continue to promote the sport of tennis to the benefit of the New England community. We always strive to be the best partner tennis players can ask for,” said Lucas Gonzalez, Americas Sports Marketing Manager for Wilson Sporting Goods. “USTA New England aligns with our vision and supports athletes beyond the tennis courts. It is important for us to partner with USTA New England and facilitate the support of tennis players in the region."
