2024 Ray Delcastillo Official of the Year Award



Congratulations to the 2024 USTA Texas Ray Delcastillo Official of the Year Award, Kevin Foster.

 

Established in 1981, this award recognizes a USTA certified official who has contributed their time to strengthen officiating through training, mentoring, recruiting, and improving the overall tennis experience across Texas.

What does receiving this award mean to you?

"I have so many great friends through Officiating it is incredible to be recognized by my peers.  I know many of the people that have received this award before me, and it is truly an honor."


Presented at the 2024 Awards Luncheon at the Omni Las Colinas Hotel in Irving on Saturday, Feb. 10th.

Kevin Foster is synonymous with officiating in Texas. That’s no surprise: he lives up to the spirit of positivity and fair play the sport strives to achieve. His endless enthusiasm and friendly personality were felt most during his leadership of the USTA Texas Officials Committee during the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic, where he worked to communicate clearly and efficiently with Officials across the state.

 

Kevin has spearheaded multiple efforts to raise the visibility of USTA Officiating and does so with his hallmark mix of energy, compassion, and humility.
