Fuego rápido con Sahana Raman

ACTON, MA - Sahana Raman, de Acton, MA, es una estudiante de último año en Acton-Boxborough Regional High y la actual No. 9 ranking junior en el ranking de New England Girls ' 18 . Su éxito en la secundaria la ha llevado a comprometerse con Middlebury College en Vermont, donde competirá en el nivel NCAA DIII este otoño.

 

“La División III tiene una buena relación entre lo académico y el tenis, que me gusta mucho. Middlebury también tiene un programa de pre-medicina realmente bueno, que posiblemente he estado considerando como una opción ”, dijo Raman. "La entrenadora (Rachel) Kahan siempre fue muy amable y transparente sobre dónde estaba, y ella y el resto de los entrenadores marcaron una gran diferencia para mí a la hora de decidir".

 

A Raman se le unirá en Middlebury la amiga y rival de Nueva Inglaterra, Nina Farhat, quien también se comprometió como parte de la Clase 2025 . 

 

En sus cuatro torneos de la USTA de Nueva Inglaterra desde septiembre, Raman se ubicó tercera o mejor en tres de ellos, incluido un Campeonato de Nivel 4 en el Centro de Tenis y Fitness de Rocky Hill y un Campeonato de Nivel 5 en el Manchester Athletic Club. Espera continuar con su éxito en 2021 .
