The Reduced Entry Fee Program

USTA New England’s mission is to ‘Promote and Develop the Growth of Tennis’. Since 2012, the goal of this program is to assist with the financial aspect of entering tournaments to ensure all players, regardless of socioeconomic and other factors, are able to play tennis competitively. All submissions are reviewed by the Director of Player Development and The Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion on a rolling basis. Players accepted into the program will be able to enter designated tournaments for half the regular tournament fee, with the balance of the fee being covered by USTA New England and the host club.

Once qualified by USTA New England, players will apply for entry into a participating tournament by emailing or calling the following information to the Tournament Director at least 3 days prior to the registration deadline: player name, USTA #, phone #, requested events (example: 16 L7 singles), and start date of tournament. Players will arrange to pay the club directly before the tournament or when they arrive at the tournament.
