UPCOMING TOURNAMENTS

OPEN LEVEL 4: MAY 25-27, 2024

Celebrate the Memorial Day weekend at our first Dominant Duo event of the year! This is a two-player team event where players can sign up with a partner and each play one singles match and one doubles match per round. All ages and genders will be hosted in the same area of Western Michigan. Be sure to register before May 16. Ready to show your team spirit?

DISTRICT TEAM CUP: JUNE 14-16

Spring is flying by and June is almost here! Team up with local players to represent your district in this exciting mixed team competition. The top teams advance to the championships... One brings home the trophy!

MIDWEST CLOSED LEVEL 3: JUNE 22-26

We're finalizing the preparations of our most prestigious junior tournament of the year! The Midwest Closed Level 3 Championships bring together the top junior players in all divisions from every Midwest district to compete and see who will take home the prize. We also want to congratulate Annabel Kim from our Chicago District who won our Midwest Closed T-Shirt Design Contest. All competitors in the event will receive a t-shirt with her design upon check-in.

MID-AMERICA MASHUP: JUNE 28-30

Have you heard of our new Mid-America Mashup tournament? It's a Level 4 team event that's only open for players from the Midwest, Missouri Valley, Middle States and Mid-Atlantic Sections. Player selections will be based off of the most recent National Standings List (NSL).

BATTLE OF THE MISSISSIPPI: JULY 26-28

Another summer competition, the Battle of the Mississippi, is a Level 2 Intersectional team tournament with players from three sections—Midwest, Northern and Missouri Valley—and is scheduled for late July. Team Midwest has taken home the trophy for three years in a row. Who will win this time?

PLAYER NEWS

Congratulations to Jack Secord from our Chicago District who helped Team USA advance to the Junior Davis Cup finals! The finals are scheduled for November 2024 at a location that has yet to be determined.

SPRING AWARDS

Know a junior tennis player who's going above and beyond? Nominate them for a USTA Midwest award. Every year we honor one male and one female player (16 or 18 and under age division) who upholds the highest standards of tennis accomplishments and sportsmanship. Submissions must be made before or on Friday May 10.

NATIONAL TENNIS MONTH

Come out and play at our National Tennis Month events. These are FREE and low-cost opportunities to celebrate the sport you love! So what are you waiting for? Grab a racquet, get on court and bring your friends!

FOUNDATION 500

The USTA/Midwest Tennis & Education Foundation has waved the green flag and that means GO! Help our foundation raise money throughout the month of May to help provide tennis and education opportunities for young players and athletes with disabilities.
