Quota for USTA National Level 1 Championships
Each Sectional Association is guaranteed a minimum number of junior players who will be accepted into the USTA National Level 1 Championships, and this number is the Sectional Association's quota. Only players residing in the Midwest Section will appear on our quota list. These lists are calculated similarly to the National Standings Lists in that they will be based on results from the past 12 months. How is quota calculated specifically?
In the Boys' and Girls' 12 Divisions, no more than two results outside of the Midwest section may count towards a player's top six singles and doubles results - four in section (sanctioned by Midwest or a Midwest district), two out of section.
In the Boys' and Girls' 14, 16, 18 Divisions, no more than three results outside of the Midwest section may count towards a player's top six singles and doubles results - three in section (sanctioned by Midwest or a Midwest district), three out of section.
These lists will be updated monthly here. For a more detailed explanation on how quota lists are calculated, please click here.
